I installed the latest version of wine for Fedora Core. Installed Diablo 2 Lord of distruction, works but no sound.
When i go into settings of diablo. Sound is not selectable. This only happends if you fon't have a sound card installed (in windows). Perhaps it will work if I can get wine to recognize my onborad sound.
Native Linux games run fine. I have Return to Castle Wolfenstinen demo, it runs sweet. Sound works in that game.
Can anyone give me pointers on how to configure wine to recongnise my on board sound?
