the site is now just over two years old and in that time the membership statistics is dismal

i'd really appreciate any help from you to get new active users on the site

i'd also appreciate any ideas/thoughts about how we can improve things

i'm open to suggestions

have a look at the membership stats since day one below

Sorry, forgot about this. But since you answered my 'forgotten topic'...

I will be getting a real, permanent website soon, so I will get a links page with Linux-noob on there at some point in time. I don't really know what else I can do apart from recommend some personal friends to sign up.

I would post on some other forums I go on, but you don't want to irritate people by spamming (other communities aren't always so forgiving ). I will do a few posts here and there to try and get some interest if I can.

I'd just like to say, however, that this is a really good community and I enjoy being involved and thanks to everyone, because you all make it what it is.
