Recently or perhaps not so recently, my computer started looking for hdc when it starts up. this is strange because i dont have an hdc, just an hda. It's not really causing me any major problems but it does waste considerable time at boot up looking for it. I'm using fedcore 1, any suggestions?

have you connected an extra hd or cd or usb storage device to the computer recently ? perhaps its still looking for it ?

yeah actually i had a usb cdrw hooked up an my roommate "borrowed" it
how can i tell it not to look for it any more?
