Finally, 7 months after the release of Fedora Core release 6, Fedora 7 codenamed Moonshine is out !

Glad they dropped the "Core" didn't mean much anymore :)

speaking of core, F7 wouldnt boot at all on my new dual core laptop, I had to disable the dual core in the bios, then it booted fine.

Anyweb, what brand laptop? I bought a Toshiba Satellite A205-S4577 a month ago. It's a Core 2 Duo. I'm thrilled with it running Fedora Core 6 and Fedora 7. Only problem is no sound volume.

the laptop is a pre-production so isn't even shipping yet, so it could be a bios issue,

 

I will double check this when it actually starts shipping next month
