So, what do you think of using a beta ver, would you give it a try?

Trying Beta versions is always something you should do on a system you care very little about, the amount of breakages is pretty much always higher than the stable/release versions.

 

So in short, no don't try Beta, not unless you want to experience bleeding-edge ;)


Further to what znx has said - it really won't be that long before it comes out for real (unlike Windows where there are months and months between a beta and the final version).

 

So if you can wait and you're not desperate to see the new stuff, it might be worth waiting for the final release.
