If I could get my modem to work and connect to peoplePC (for the moment) I would take you up on the IRC invite! :)


if the modem is a winmodem (most likely on a laptop) then you may have trouble getting it to work in linux

 

however, that said check for your make/model here

I have just installed Fedora Core 4 on a Dell Inspiron 9400 (Duo Core, craphics card Intel 945GM, 1920x1200). However, X does not work. Or may be my xorg.conf is incorrect. Please advise! Kind regards,
