Full Version: Mounting Samba Share

Have you wanted to easily mount a Samba share without using the command line? Sacrilege, I know, but the following how-to might be helpful. It does make assumptions that you have a working Samba or Windows server on your local network and that you have a valid username and password for that share. Also, be sure you have administrative rights on your local computer.

thanks kingttx, ill confess to only knowing the command line methods :)

It's not too bad, and when I tried it the first time, I was surprised at the ease. I had tried Smb4k, Linneighborhood, couple of others, but this seems to be the most integrated (naturally since it is part of Mandriva).
