Try issuing the following command as root:

ifconfig -a




 

if you see anything like eth0 or eth1 your network card has been detected.

If you install using 'linux text' instead of graphical anaconda, it will work... for some reason grub and lilo do not always install properly in graphical anaconda...

my fedora is working now :)

bought a new 3com network card, and i was able to access the net.

downloaded all the updatefiles that it asked about, and then after the reboot i was able to use my usb mouse :)

 

now all i have to do is figure out how the heck it's working, but atleast all the hardware is working! :)
