Problem Connection shareing. Everything was running fine VIA 2 NIC's and a crossover cable. Then last night i llost all net.

eth0 = internal connection

eth1 = exterior connection

I cannot get net when i activate eth0 for connection shareing. it kicks me off the net. It was working fine untill last night it hjust stopped and i didnt change any settings

Both nic cards lite up so its not a cable or hardware problem. I just dont understand this.

Any suggestions?

check all your IP settings and make sure two computers aren't using the same IP address

While it may not seem like a card/cable problem, always check that first, by swapping the cards and cables. Also, check with your ISP to see if there was a service outage, or try re-newing your WAN IP.

Thanks alot guys i tried all of that allready but now it seems that my OS has died. So it most likely was just a software problem. I dont know why it just died but it was booting slow then i couldnt get any gui's to run. Now when i boot it just says system boot failure please insert boot disk. So maybe the drive failed.
