Hi I'm about to setup a fresh Fedora box tonight and was wondering if the Bluetake USB 802.11b Wireless lan adapter works in release 2 or 3? It's the BW101.

ive no idea if it works or not, if it doesnt you may need to use the ndiswrapper drivers for more info

how do you scan the usb bus? i cant get it to see the adapter.

try lsusb


[root@localhost root]# lsusb

Bus 001 Device 001: ID 0000:0000





I'm baffled.. thinking another wireless bridge (like i have in the other room) would just be an easier option.


[root@phoenix ~]# lsusb

Bus 001 Device 003: ID 0ace:1201  
Bus 001 Device 001: ID 0000:0000  


0ace:1201, is a Zydas 1201 chipset. You should look at
