ok so i run a game on port 4000 of my rh9 box. I use herb.servegame.com from no-ip.com so people

dont have to use the actual ip. everything has been working fine , and now all of a sudden people can't connect to me. i dont think it's the no-ip address because when you try to connect it converts it to the ip.

i can't connect to linux remotely either on port 23. i can connect if i do 127.0.0.1 but that doesnt really solve my problem. I'm really confused bcause i went to bed an it was all working an i wake up an its just not. anyone have any ideas or thoughts?

check your firewall settings,

do iptables -L and paste the output here, or configure it yourself by running lokkit as root in a console

cheers

the router, somehow a setting was incorrect and it decided to start goin crazy. Things are running smoothly now.
