Does Samba work with Active Directory and Server 2003 Yet? Anyone know?

i'm surely it will work on any windows version. matter in fact, the samba runs better with IP not the name of computer.

smb://192.168.0.2

then double click the shared folder, it will prompt you the login. use your windows login username and pass.

My question was does it work with Active Directory Services. I'm just curious to know if that is a possibility. To where you can use "Active Directory" and Samba hand in hand, with users, printers.... etc.

Let me know.

Im thinking samba 3.0 has some of this functionality.

Sweet, I'll have to take a look at it. I guess I should be reading samba.org

So some of us are lazy. :)
