hi all,
well i logged on this morning to see a 'database driver error' here on the site, and the usual fixes didn't help, after trying many things i had to resort to restoring yesterdays MYSQL backup for linux-noob.com
the end result of that is it has resovled the database issue, but it may mean that a post (or posts made between yesterday and today) are lost
I apologise for that and thank you for your patience
