Anyone here use monit and know how to install it and configure it on Redhat? Something keeps killing sendmail and I want monit to restart the process until I dig far enough in to figure out what the cause is.

I don't know about monit (I use mrtg and cacti) but have you checked the logfiles?

 

Usually there's some information in /var/log/messages, or /var/log/maillog - it could shed some light on what's causing sendmail to throw a wobbly.
