Full Version: Problem installing Fedora 20 from USB media

well when gnome crashes it doesnt crash to a prompt, it bombs me backinto the desktop... i'll take another look at it tonite

tried it again and again it crashes, although the time and other widgits in gnome work just fine, it's just when i click on activities

 

maybe i'll install it on another laptop and see how it goes as i do want to see the new gnome

Yeah that'd be interesting to see what happens, try and install it from the same usb stick, if the same thing happens. Try installing it from the dvd/cd or if it doesn't have a dvd drive. Try using <a data-ipb="nomediaparse" href="http://unetbootin.sourceforge.net/">unetbootin</a> to create your bootable usb. Be interesting to know what the results are.

Any results yet?
i got irritated with this computer (it hard locked when lid closed) so i just installed windows 7 on it, i'll install fedora on another laptop instead.
