hello all

i have managed to crash the x server...

i have updated the system from redhat9 network to the

up-to-date packages but after the reset the x server

wont come up...

i get these errors:

"waiting for x server to shut down"

"INIT: Id "x" respawning too fast: disable for 5

minutes"

"GLIBC_2.0 not defined"

i can logon to the server, webmin, samba and http

doesn't work but the ftp is up...

can someone guide me how to restore or roll back?

(redhat-config-xfree86 gives an error that it is missing files)

I have searched google for hours but still no solution.

I have the XFree86.0.log of the server.
