Google building distro - hybrid - 2006-01-31


Looks like Google really are out to get Microsoft, they've admitted they're building an Ubuntu-based Google Linux distro:

Well, if it brings support and applications for Linux, I'm all for it :)

I think it's a wonderful idea. Ubuntu is a great OS and im sure google will be even greater. I heard that thay were bulding something to comeout aroud 2010 but i didn't know thay were talking about a debian drivitive.

I think this could very well let ubuntu corner the market with new users, not a bad thing, it could also give a much needed Linux boost..
