here i have flashfxp running in Fedora Core Release 1

it was as easy as downloading it and double clicking on the EXE in nautilus file manager

wine handled the rest :)

totally cool !

"fxp" = "file xfer(transfer) program/protocol" ?

it looks like it's a bridge between windows and linux... what all does it do?

flashfxp is THE ftp program to use in windows, its so cool in all its features...

i use both linux and windows and i must say im disappointed in the crap ftp clients available in linux so far

in redhat or fedora you have gFTP by default, and it sux, it crashes more often than not for me

and... it doesnt support NAT networks let alone some of the features in flashfxp

and it looks like shit

flashfxp looks good, performs brilliantly and now i'm so dam happy i've got it to work in linux as well as windows

go flashfxp !!!!

cheers

You have made me very happy. I would love flashfxp in linux, can you tell me how did you get it to work, did you use wine, is there any way to config wine in a easy way.

Thanks

try this how-to

or... you could use apt-get to install wine

Code:
apt-get update && apt-get install wine

apt-get info is also here

cheers
