thanks mate

im working on adding new features to the forums, and more topics such as distros :)

also, i have another web server running an identical copy of this one, and it works 99%

the 1% that doesnt work is i cannot upload any files/screenies on the backup forum

but im working on that too

hopefully, my aim is to have the two forums running side by side, and if i need to close one for repair etc, then i will seemlessly point the www.linux-noob.com ip to the other server and no one will even notice

cool huh :-)

cheers

Yeah it damn cool :)good job dude.

about the 1% problem -

Quote:the 1% that doesnt work is i cannot upload any files/screenies on the backup forum

you need to chmod as 077 for uploading the files/screenies. if you are using FlashFXP, right click on the folder you want to change the chmod. then it can be done. it works on my company website i can upload files/screenies.

hope this help ya :)
