hello

i've tried installing using wubi

after restart when ubuntu instalss i get an error message :" unable to execute /bin/sh

hi what type of hardware are you installing Ubuntu on (via Windows with wubi)

 

apart from the errors here, did you see any other errors?

 

do you have raid or any special hardware on this pc/laptop ?

i am using core 2 due e 6300 1 GB ram ,

2 hard disks

installing with (windows XP and wubi)

don't have raid just 2 h.ds

 

special hardware... ? don't know game pad mouse .... nothing too special.

 

also tried using wubi 8.0.4.1 same result.

ok, where are you installing wubi to ? which hard disc, which partition of that hdd ?

 

have you tried just installing it on C: ?

 

did you get any errors during the installation ? or did it complete normally and you only get the boot errors after trying to boot,

 

have you tried to remove the second hard disc to see if it will boot ?

 

i really need more info to determine your problem
