  1. Ok I can't really figure out where this question should go, so I'll post it here. I'm buying an Athlon 64 3500+ and a socket 939 mobo today. I'm debating putting linux on it to play around. I downloaded FC3 64 bit and Suse 9.2 64 bit last night on dvd. Anybody have any thoughts on the 64 bit versions? What works/what doesn't? Anything I should watch out for? (btw the mobo is a new MSI Neo K8N 2 socket 939 board, 1gb ram, radeon x800pro vid card, audigy2 sound, 2 sata drives, dvd rom and a dvd burner) Thanks
  2. That is funny. But wouldn't the fact that it's the middle of January, and most mountain roads being closed from snow have any effect on driving in Norway this time of year? By the way, There's a ferry service that runs along the coastline drivers can take. (Maybe mappoint should start including that).
  3. Hi, I'm wondering what pcmcia wifi cards if any will work "out of the box" on fc2. Are there any drivers built in?
  4. Just out of curiosity, why aren't you using apache 2.0.xx?
  5. hahaha damn I figured it was something simple... Thanks
  6. Ok here's what I'm trying to do. I'd like to have a shortcut on my gnome desktop that I dbl-click on it and it open up the web folder (/var/www/html). I'm running fedora Core2, pretty vanilla install (default gnome etc..) I imagine this is a simple to do but I can't for the life of me figure out how, thanks.
  7. What term is that? I used to use eterm but it was playing nice when i tried to install it on FC2 last night.
  8. I like it as well, they could relax a little with all the multimedia crap (mp3's etc...)though.
