  1. http://man.splitbrain.org/cfdisk(8) The switch "/?" is rarely used in Linux. Most apps use "-h" or "--help", or something similar.
  2. Nice desktop z0ny! clean and functional (I guess).
  3. bah. The fluxbox and (xmms) theme is called LDC, [get]. I'm using the really nice artwiz font called snap, and the thing in the upper left is torsmo [get], with a custom, gentoo-colored interface. If you want the config-file for it, ask me. The wallpaper is called 'Chronicles Of Time', made by dilekt @ deviantart, [here], his wallpapers are awesome, you should check them out. (I don't have to tell you that those terminals are aterm's.)
  4. It's better I think, but the google-ads are a little 'in the way'. Although, that's no big problem The new logo's are also nice
  5. 1. If you have Fluxbox as an option on the log in screen, choose it, and try to log in. If that doesn't work, try to find a file named fluxbox.desktop (maybe Fluxbox.desktop), and change it, the way grep says in this post: https://www.linux-noob.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=308 2. You could compile your own GAIM (which I like best ). Get gaim at gaim.sf.net - http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/gaim/gaim-1.0.2.tar.gz (If you don't have one allready, put it in a dir where you put sourcecode, like ~/src) Extract the tarball: tar xzvf gaim-1.0.2.tar.gz Cd to the new director
  6. Umm, make sure that you are saving the file with ISO-8859-15 character set. I hope it helps - Hilsen Andreas
  7. Oh yes, Digitally Imported is always turned on in the background at my place... And it works great with XMMS too It's mostly trance/vocal trance that I listen to... Andreas
  8. Hi, i decided to install k3b, and used apt-get. After it was installed, i ran it from the terminal... here you go: [andreas@localhost andreas]$ k3b kbuildsycoca running... k3b: error while loading shared libraries: /usr/lib/libk3bcore.so.2: undefined symbol: _ZNK7QString3argExii [andreas@localhost andreas]$ Mutex destroy failure: Device or resource busy I have no idea whats causing it, cos k3b has worked on my fedora c1 box before with the same specs as now. I have a Lite-on 52x burner.. I am a bit of a noob (thats also why i'm posting here ), so dont give me too complicated an
  9. 10. Yes indeed, it is. It has almost everything you need, except a good package handler (not sure about core 2), and is user-friendly and good. I recommend it
