  3. Hello, From the screen shot it looks like you don't have the kernel headers install. If you are using Fedora you can issue the following command. yum install kernel-devel
  4. Hello, It was more likely you needed to reboot your X server, you could of just hit Ctrl + Alt + Backspace

    Hello magikman, I found the problem, the mydestination directive was declared twice.. It was sneakily placed at the bottom of the main.cf file.

  9. Hello, Have you tried using the YaST software management tool? You can also do: rpm -qa | grep -i openoffice And when you get the returned results use the RPM command to remove the package rpm -e package_name.rpm

  19. Hey all, I have the following smart card reader; O2Micro OZ711SP1 running with the kernel. I looked on (http://www.linuxnet.com/sourcedrivers.html) which provide the O2Micro Smartcardbus PCMCIA Smartcard Reader driver however, it does not support the kernel because of the changes made to PCMCIA. Does anyone have any suggestions on getting this working?

  21. SSH is Secure SHell. I just also got SSH working though a proxy using the SSH Proxy Command -- connect.c utility.
  22. iptables -A INPUT This sets the IP rule to be appended into the INPUT table -i eth0 This rule applys on the eth0 interface -p tcp --sport 443 This sets the protocol to TCP and the source port is 443 -m state --state ESTABLISHED -j ACCEPT This sets a match on the state of established that means if the connection has been established it will be accepted. However this rule will deny any new connections as the rule needs the state of NEW iptables -A INPUT -i eth0 -p tcp --sport 443 -m state --state NEW,ESTABLISHED -j ACCEPT
