  1. So I'm not sure if this is the right board to be posting to but I'll have a go at it here first. I've just recently installed FC4 and things seem to be working well enough for me. I'm running into problems finding updated packages for this Fedora release for programs that have been suggested to me in #linux-noob. Specifically, I'd like to install eterm for my shell usage, and there aren't any packages floating around (at least that I can find) for FC4 yet. So, this is more of a general question, though eterm is a specific example, I'd like to know how I should go about creating my own packages for FC4 and resolving necessary dependencies and such. How should I approach compiling binaries, finding the right binaries to compile and configuring them correctly? Any suggestions and tips are welcome. PHi[noob]
