I decided to install a them to make my desktop look a bit different and added one of my own wallpapers to make it ook a bit better. Still will do some menu editing. What do you think so far?

Here's a screenshots of my netbook(Asus Eee 12.1" 1215B-SIV128M) running on Fedora 16 XFCE. I actually like it alot better than Gnome 3. If All linux distros decide to use Gnome 3. I'm switching to XFCE

I decided to play around with KVM on my desktop to see if I could get it to work. Was easier/just as easy as Virtual-box.

You can install it from the standard repositories and it's the new Red Hat standard. I did it with graphical interface since

I'm using my desktop but when I get my server going to try and do it all via de terminal. There's lots of documentation

and features . What do you think?

Here's a screenshot of the new distro I'm running

It's a redhat clone just like CentOS. I heard that the development of SL is doing better than CentOS these days. And they got a great friendly community too. I have it as a desktop,

runs nice and stable and if you want to use compiz/fusion it also works.

I ran an in-place upgrade of my 32-bit Ubuntu 11.04 system to 11.10. It seems to have gone very smoothly indeed!

I've just been playing around with the new Fedora 13 Beta release in a virtual machine. It looks pretty attractive and seems to work well (in this VM configuration anyway).

It ships with the Firefox 3.6 release and there's a new photo management app called Shotwell (which has an 'Events' feature like Apple's iPhoto), but a lot of the other new stuff is under the hood, so I'm not sure what other interesting things there are to see just yet!
