SIOCSIFFLAGS is that not an IRQ conflict?

I tried that cat /proc/interrupt but it not helping.

I use dmesg and it turn out as

Code:
eth1: islpci_open()
eth1: resetting device...
eth1: uploading firmware...
prism54: request_firmware() failed for 'isl3886'
eth1: could not upload firmware ('isl3886')
eth1: islpci_open()
eth1: resetting device...
eth1: uploading firmware...
prism54: request_firmware() failed for 'isl3886'
eth1: could not upload firmware ('isl3886')

it jsut all about the flippin firmware, but there is no firmware for ISL3886 from prism54's website.

any other solution if it possible??

thanks

i wonder.. are you attempting to use it directly.. ?

maybe you can get the firmware here [/url][url=http://prism54.org/~mcgrof/firmware/]http://prism54.org/~mcgrof/firmware/

maybe unload the kernel mod and try using ndiswrapper instead, then write a crappy letter to prism about the lack of firmware support :)

ndiswrapper works here and it really GREAT!! prism54 should be spit! and workers so lazy to get the ISL3886 to work!! thump up to ndiswrapper ;)

If any of you have same problem, i'll be happy to help :)

Now iam happy to use linux again via wifi ;)

I have exactly the same problem on the same notebook, Fujitsu Siemens AMILO D1845. If you could help saying me your procedure, I could save much time...

Thanks!
