how do you get the IRC client to be transparent

mueahhahahaha... You both are wrong. It's irssi. Wh00t. I hated bitchx so i moved up in the world and used irssi. Excellent it is.

 

As for a tips-tricks, I just posted it as a reply to "x-chat transparent"

I use irssi =) If you ever get ops on EFNet I made a script to auto authenticate to bots!
