Converted!
#1

So my friend at college has been saying how great Linux is and i was already fed up with windows rubbish so today i gave it ago.

I have split my drive up. Windows for games and Linux for everything else :) I'm really looking forward to seeing what this bad boy can do.

some things i would like to do are:

Access my drive. Eg my computer > C:\ drive.

Place icons on my desktop ! This really sounds stupid but i don't seem to be able to drag them from the start bar to there.

Install programs. I tried to run a program i downloaded and nothing happend...

I think that will get me on my feet until i can speak to my friend.

you can access the drive just fine once you install the ntfs kernel modules
