This is all down to how Fedora/SuSe has setup your X configuration file. If you can load up suse still .. grab the /etc/X11/xorg.conf file and transfer it to your Fedora system.

 

If not then try and find the specs for your Card/Monitor and give them here.. I will give you an example xorg.conf to work from.

Hello,

 

I installed SUSE on my laptop and got resolutions atleast as high as 1024x768.

Then I installed FC5 (which I like better), and got resolutions only as high as 800x600.

 

What should I do?
