Is there an easy way to find out what type of cards support raid? I guess my question is.
Don't most SCIS cards support some sort of an array setting?

According to www.fedora.redhat.com there is not a Fedora install guide yet available. I need to do a ftp install, or something that boots with a floppy, my burner died so I can't burn the iso's I d/l'd. Is there a Red Hat version install guide that would be close to Fedora? Thanks for any help.
=)#
**actually found some install info @ http://fedora.redhat.com/download/ **

Athlon 2500+ |

hi.. i have been having this problem for some time, but i couldn't solve it. maybe i'll try my luck here.
i have this athlon xp processor, supposed to be 2500+. i'm using ddr 333, 256mb ram. my mb is MSI kt4av, supports both. when i started out, it was set to athlon 1100. so i thought ok, maybe i have to change something. i went to the bios and found the only thing that i could do to affect the speed was the base frequency.
default freq is 100MHz - this sets proc to 1100. i can get my desired 2500+ when i change the base freq to 180MHz. All is fine, but the computer will crash randomly and restart by itself. Most prob due to overheat i suspect. so to be able to use the comp at all, i have to leave it at 1100.
any idea how i can get my money's worth??? is there a way to check what is e intended speed for the processor??
any help's appreciated!

It seem nothing on here, so i though why not I ask a daft question heh.
what if i have my host linking to my ISP IP and want to setup the psybnc and use my host from Linux machine. it is possible to do that?
or is there is way to create your own domain from your own machine and use it all over the world?
I've seen some domain seller have provide them, how it works and how do they broadcast the domain all over the world ?
Just wanna know some information - which is would be useful for me in the future.

SATA with Linux |

Hey there,
I'm a Windows User (No jokes please lol), I want to start learning Linux so I've got my distro of Redhat 9 OR Fedora Core 1 on hand to install. I've been using Windows for a few years so you can imagine how dumb and lazy I am.
Soooo, I thought i'd learn some Linux and start putting it to some good use because its getting so popular. I'm just wanting to fiddle around with Linux (I've been in before) and get in abit deeper before I spent abit of money on a Linux box.
HOWEVER, I came to install my Linux flavour on my drive. Trouble is, I'm running an Athlon 64 3200+ from an Asus K8V Deluxe with ONE 160gb Seagate SATA drive. I'm completely stuck lol, installation cant communicate with the Via Controller my HDD is running from. I've considered buying an IDE drive to play around with it on, but I hear so much talk about how it does run on SATA drives. Just a question of getting the drivers and installing them so Linux installation can see it.
I just wondered if any of you had done this before & would be willing to help me keep away from the dark-side currently known as Windows? lol thanks alot...
