Noob needs help with linux server 7.04

after I write down my user name and password this come's up: anders@stikser:~@

What should i write?:P am i missing somthing?

if you want X then try typing startx

 

if you want to do something else, then tell us

ok well is this the server release of ubuntu 7.04 ? if so perhaps X is not included (i don't know)
