I've decided that I'm not pro enough to deal with the piles of config and compatability work in linux on a regular basis, so I'm going to boot to a XP partition.
The harddrive is currently partitioned with a spare 80gb sector I'm not using, and I plan on putting Windows there. Before I burn the cd, is there anything I need to know, along the lines of:
--will xp install peacefully within the partition, and if not, would it be easier just to reformat and repartition the entire thing then reinstall rh9 afterwards?
--what do I need to do within the rh9 burning program to make sure the disk qualifies as a boot disk?
--is there a way to store files on a third partition where they can be mutually accessed by both systems? (I remember linux has a tool to interact with windows-formatted filesystems, but I dont know if it works across a partition)
