built in wlan card on ubuntu

im on a dell inspiron B130

the wlan card i have is a built in PCI card

the name is: dell wirless 1370 WLAN mini-PCI card

if i were to install ubuntu

would that actually work on it

or would i have to purchase a external wireless card?

also when i do format my drive

will i lose all my system configs like for my speakers and what not?

yes it will work (broadcom wireless) however you might have to use ndiswrapper to achieve this
