am a newbie in linux just got it couple of days back. tyring to install fc4. i find problem in hearing the audio. i checked the audio driver. its installed (audio level nop appears on the taskbar) even xmms player plays wav files but i cudnt hear audio. i have installed ALSA

any thoughts guys!! am not hearing audio yet!!

Open a console and type alsamixer then unmute the items that have MM under them, also you can move the volume up.

 

Then try again.
