checkout how to check your display !

 

gone is

 

redhat-config-xfree86

 

replaced with

 

system-config-display

 

more logical i guess :)

the same goes for pretty much all those redhat-bla-bla commands,

ah ! finally a network monitor applet that you can add - similar to xp/2k's show 'icon in notification area when connected'

 

i like it ! but it's dam big and this is a 21 inch monitor running @ 1600x1200@85hz

 

anyway, have a look

 

and yes i am aware of the wireless applet that did the same in redhat 8/9/fedora core release 1

tsclient (mstsc.exe/rdesktop) to windows 2003 advanced server

 

open a console and type

I installed the Fedora core 2, the gkrellm wasn't there, all i did just apt-get install gkrellm

 

now the gkrellm's icon is in the menu. :) hope this help ya

My little laptop running gnome with terms only right now, currently looking for a nice splashscreen to go with the current background so i dont have to make one from scratch.
