Posted by: Guest - 2005-01-15, 04:44 PM - Forum: Security and Firewalls - No Replies

Could someone post all the log files for www, ssh, computer in general, etc.... that admins in training like myself should keep a close watch on? Anything regarding people accessing your machine, 'history' command, what to look for, and what files to keep live updating posted in terminals (like the 'tail' command).

I will post what I can find here, but for the time being, I would like input from any of the

  issue with my docking station
Posted by: wolfdemon - 2005-01-13, 08:05 PM - Forum: Fedora - No Replies

I have a Compaq Armada E500 (700Mhz P3)... it works flawlessly with Fedora Core... The only issue I have is with the docking station. When i plug the laptop into it, it doesn't recognize the docking station. USB Ports will not work in it, nor will the vga card in it display anything. I know that the docking station works, because before I formatted the hard drive, Windows XP always detected it.

Anyone have any clues?
