Fedora CDless Install?
#1

According to www.fedora.redhat.com there is not a Fedora install guide yet available. I need to do a ftp install, or something that boots with a floppy, my burner died so I can't burn the iso's I d/l'd. Is there a Red Hat version install guide that would be close to Fedora? Thanks for any help.

hi

you could just mount the isos and install it that way

You can also install Red Hat Linux or Fedora using ISO images without copying them into a single tree by loopback mounting them as:

mkdir disc1 disc2 disc3

mount -o loop yarrow-1.iso disc1

mount -o loop yarrow-2.iso disc2

mount -o loop yarrow-3.iso disc3

or try this (its rh9 specific but may work for fedora)
