  SLED 10 SP1
Posted by: anyweb - 2007-07-04, 08:40 PM - Forum: Linux News - No Replies

Quote:"Sometimes, a service pack comes along that really makes a big difference. Take NT. Before SP3, it was garbage; afterwards Microsoft had its first server operating system that was worth anything. XP before SP2 was so-so, but after SP2, it became Microsoft's best desktop operating system ever (sorry, Vista). And, now, with its SP1 for SLED (SUSE Linux Enterprise Desktop), Novell has given an already excellent business desktop a real kick in the pants."

  Remove those tabs on top
Posted by: currylover - 2007-07-04, 08:03 AM - Forum: Fluxbox - Replies (1)

How do you remove those "tabs" on top of the window, I've never had these before, but now they suddenly appeared when I reinstalled my system?

I've changed session.tabs: true to session.tabs: false in my init file, but they were still there.

  Linux on Windows with Lina
Posted by: anyweb - 2007-06-29, 08:58 PM - Forum: Linux News - No Replies

Quote:"Between WINE, VMware, BOCHs and ilk - not to mention the renewed focus on virtualisation we're now seeing - we're somewhat spoilt for choice when it comes to running Windows applications on Linux. But what about the other way around? Cygwin aside, there is another way."
